Let There Be Light

One of the people that I work with that I hold in a very high esteem once told me "Give me light!" so here, in a very tongue-in-cheek way, is light mode! Something else he taught me when I was still in training was to create your own personal brand. Not only that but also be aware of how your brand is perceived by others. With every place that I have worked it's always been about the paycheck. And nothing else really mattered that much. For some reason, maybe my desire to keep working and not be homeless, that stuck with me. It's not enough for me to just get by at work. I need to be okay with the image I portray of myself for others. Regardless of if that turns into movement up or not, because the main point is at the end of the day I'm proud of the work I've done. Not for clients, not for managers, heck not even for leadership or the CEO. It's for me. I deserve to be proud of myself and the effort I put forth.
