I've always wanted to be able to see an app I built in the Apple App Store
Years ago, when I had just started my dev journey, I was gifted a MacBook for Christmas from my dad. It was an amazing gift that I am so thankful for because it meant that he believed I could do it. I got into building Swift apps, but they were always small and not very pro level and really never had my heart fully backing it. I also didn't have the research skills and documentation skills that I have today. So I drifted away from building with Swift and focused on what I was good at. .Net code. The company that I work at has taught me so many things and chief among those was searching docs and using them to build applications with. With this new knowledge I turned back to iOS development. This time my new position I was promoted to served as inspiration to build an app I can actually use. Now I have an app released in the App Store called Project Command which gives people like me, Technical Project Managers, a way to track projects and log issues and tasks and milestones all on our phones. The amount of times I've had a eureka moment while walking a trail through the woods a billion miles from my laptop is substantial. But now it's something I no longer have to worry about. The amount of gratitude I have towards my dad for that first initial belief in my abilities is more than I can communicate. So here's to more apps and a whole new world of development!! Oh and NetSignal got a big update in the Microsoft Store so there's that!
